6 Ways to Relax & Unwind in Cedar Park

Have you heard of float therapy? If not, you have to give True Rest Float Spa a try. True Rest fills a sensory deprivation pod with Epsom salt so you can spend some time floating without the distractions of outside noise and everyday life. Not only is floating in a pod relaxing, but you can relieve a lot of stress related pain and anxiety just by floating. You can also choose mood lighting in your pod or some relaxing music to add to the experience. This spa is a great way to spend some time working on your well-being and focusing on your inner-self.

Ying Yoga studio stands out among other yoga studios in Cedar Park by combining the spirit of Austin’s music scene with great yoga classes for all levels and experience. Try their Hatha + Sound class – which helps to calm the mind through trying different postures, breathing and meditation. 4. cordovan art school

Maybe your way of unwinding is through creating – then take a class at Cordovan Art School. They offer classes for adults where the theme is all about relaxing. You will get started by finding a photo to draw or paint that interests you (or you can bring one from home). Then, you’ll work side by side with a professional artist to guide you as you learn the tricks and techniques that will help your art come to life. They also offer other creative classes for all age ranges and online classes too.

5. Sculpture garden

A visit the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden is an outdoor activity where you can view works of art in a calm and serene setting. The garden features a unique collection of sculptures from Texas based artists. The artwork varies in medium and rotates annually, so there is always a different sculpture to appreciate. The sculptures are interspersed throughout walking trails and beautiful landscaping to provide a fitting backdrop for these works of art.

6. hike & bike trails

Sometimes just getting outside and enjoying some fresh air can be so calming. Brushy Creek Lake Park is the perfect location for biking, walking or jogging through beautiful and well-maintained trails. If the weather is nice, you can also rent a kayak and paddle your way through the 38-acre lake.
