Texas Stars hockey season
October 4 – April 2020
Hockey season will start for Cedar Park’s beloved Texas Stars. Opening night is October 4 with a game against the Tucson Roadrunners. Come out to the H-E-B Center and root for the home team.

H-E-B Center at Cedar Park will not only be host to the Texas Stars Hockey games, but they also have so many shows lined up for October as well. Here’s the lineup:

Cedar bark festival
Come out to the Cedar Bark Park with your pup and enjoy the Cedar Bark Festival. There will be a Dog Costume contest and a Pet/Owner Look Alike Contest. Also enjoy vendors, food concessions and demonstrations at the festival.
Taste of Cedar Park
Sample food, wine, and beer from Cedar Park and North Austin’s finest eateries and restaurants at the Taste of Cedar Park. This event will also unveil the newest sculptures at Cedar Park’s Sculpture Garden. So sip, stroll, and enjoy live music art and food in Cedar Park.

Knights of the Roundtable & Brave Shield Maidens come together and celebrate Fable Fest. Fable Fest is a combination of a reniassance fair and classic storytime fables that’s fun for the whole family. Enjoy storytime, a petting zoo, theater performances, music, carnival games, jousting tournaments and more. Even better is that all proceeds from this event go to support the Cedar Park Library’s reading programs – Huzzah!
the pumpkin express
Join the Austin Steam Train Association for this annual fall tradition. The Pumpkin Express takes you to the sleepy town of Bertram where you will step off for 30 minutes to pick a pumpkin from the Depot Pumpkin Patch. Kids of all ages will enjoy a chat with Farmer Brown, take a tour of our historic 1912 train depot, and sip apple cider. So pack a snack and jump on board! Make sure and reserve your ticket soon, because this train sells out fast.

halloween in the hall
Little ghouls and goblins, mark your calendars for Halloween in the Hall on Thursday, October 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. This event, presented by The City of Cedar Park, offers safe and fun trick-or-treating at the Cedar Park City Hall Campus, located at 450 Cypress Creek Road. There will also be a fire engine, police car and construction equipment for the kids to check out. Costumes are welcomed and encouraged. This family friendly event is going to be a howling good time!
