ALL ABOARD A VINTAGE TRAIN RIDE
August 31: Sit back for a relaxing journey into passenger railroad’s glorious past onboard the Austin Steam Train’s Bertram Flyer! Ride in vintage train cars from the golden era of rail travel, built in the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. This 44 mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15 minute layover at the historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast—one of the tallest structures in the world!

LIVE MUSIC AT HAUTE SPOT VENUE
There is nothing better than catching a live show outdoors on a nice summer evening. Haute Spot Venue has some great shows all through Labor Day Weekend.
August 30: To get your Friday night off to a good start, Haute Spot presents country singer and songwriter Kyle Park. Kyle is a local from Austin Texas, so make sure and show him some love!
August 31: The band Tool announced its first album in over a decade, so Haute Spot Venue is celebrating with a Tool Album Release Listening Party featuring the Tool cover band, Third Eye. This event will feature an incredible light and video show.
September 1: Come out to Haute Spot Venue to see country music and Grammy Award Winning artist, Rick Trevino. This is a show you won’t want to miss.
Haute Spot concerts have VIP areas, Food Trucks, Multiple Bars, Hammocks & Chairs and Free Parking.
WINE AND TUNES AT BENT OAK WINERY
Come out to Bent Oak Winery on Labor Day weekend to sample wine and listen to live music in their tasting room. Maybe grab a bottle or two to take home and enjoy.
August 30: It’s Wine Down Friday’s at Bent Oak Winery. Acoustic singer and songwriter, Jim Bryant, will be playing. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy!
August 31: Bent Oak Winery is offering a Saturday special. Enjoy classic Bruschetta paired with one of their wines for $10. Now that’s a great deal!
September 1: Returning musician, Heath Ham, brings his trio Aquifer to play in the tasting room. Aquifer will be playing some Reggae and Southern Rock, which will make for an entertaining Labor Day weekend.
September 1: The City of Cedar Park – Parks & Recreation Department presents, Splash Jam. This is a fun event for everybody to enjoy as an end to the Summer pool season. Cool off in Milburn Pool from 1–8p.m. (regular pool rates apply). A washer tournament will begin at 4p.m and beginning at 6p.m. enjoy live music, food concessions, inflatables, carnival games and rides. Fireworks will begin at dark. Admission is free!
