Outdoor Adventure trip plan

Nature lovers, we have seriously great outdoors for you to explore. Catch some air at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, find your stride with a run around one of our parks or dip an oar in the water at Brushy Creek Lake Park. However you’d like to play away your days, we’re sure you’ll find plenty of outside adventures to discover in Cedar Park.

day 1

Grab a cup of organic, locally roasted coffee at Summer Moon Coffee before you head off to Lake Travis Zipline Advenuture where you will sail through the beautiful scenery of the Hill Country and Lake Travis. Lake Travis Zipline Adventure not only offers an amazing zip-lining experience, but with a purchase of your ticket, you can relax on their private beach after all that zipping around. (Lake Travis Ziplining Adventure’ season operates from March 1-November 21)

Once you’re back down on the ground in Cedar Park, head to East Side King for some Asian street food to fuel your adventure for the next day.

day 2

Your home base for the day will be Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Co where you can get a house roasted specialty coffee and fresh baked muffin or scone to kick-start another outdoor adventure. Then, soak up the scenery at Brushy Creek Lake Park and rent a kayak or stand up paddle board and paddle your way through the beautiful Brushy Creek Lake.

After a great afternoon outdoors, get ready to grub on some seriously good tacos at Torchy’s Tacos. Torchy’s is all about flavor and it shows in all of their tacos. You’ll find it hard not to order the whole menu!

day 3

Enjoy a calm and serene outdoor setting at Veteran’s Memorial Park or take a walk or run through Cedar Park’s Sculpture Garden where local artisans display their unique artwork in a beautiful park setting.

After enjoying the great outdoors for the past few days, bid a fond farewell to Cedar Park by having brunch at The Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen. Enjoy a bagel board or some eggs benedict on the patio.
