Girls Getaway trip plan

Have too many “long time, no see” conversations occurred? It’s time to plan a weekend with your closest girlfriends, and there’s no better destination than Cedar Park. Whether you all like to lace up your sneakers and hit the trails or prefer to pull on the heels and share a bottle of Texas’ finest, a visit to Cedar Park will have you catching up in no time.

day 1

Once you arrive, get a manicure or pedicure with your pals at one of the many nail salons in Cedar Park. Next, view beautiful outdoor works of art at Cedar Park’s Sculpture Garden, then head to happy hour at Takara Sushi & Asian Bistro. Live jazz music plays every Friday & Saturday for a lively evening of sushi rolls, cocktails and fun.

day 2

Let the girls weekend continue with a specialty coffee and pastry from Black Sugar Caffé or Cypress Creek Coffee Company. Then take a ride in a beautifully restored locomotive at the Austin Steam Train Association. View the scenery of the Hill Country and get in some great photo opportunities with your friends.

After your train ride, head to Chuy’s for a flavored margarita and savory Tex-Mex food, then walk to the many stores at The Parke shopping center for some serious retail therapy. Keep the shopping momentum going and head to Grit & Grace Boutique to find one-of-a-kind gifts, clothing and jewelry, or head to Beau Kisses boutique for some unique finds, like a monogrammed tote. End the day with your gal pals at the Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen and catch up on conversation over a glass of wine and some shareable bites.

day 3

Time for brunch at Blue Corn Harvest Grill and enjoy a mimosa out on the patio. After your fabulous brunch, relax and unwind with your girlfriends at Woodhouse Day Spa or get a facial at Lux Skin Spa. No trip to Cedar Park is complete without heading to Bent Oak Winery to sample some amazing Texas wines. Right next door to Bent Oak Winery is Delysia Chocolatier, where you can sample locally made artisanal chocolates. Make sure to get a box of chocolates for your trip back home.
