Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father’s Day weekend is just around the corner and we’ve got some perfect gift ideas for the rad dad in your life. Cedar Park restaurants, shops and attractions are reopening just in time for you to get that special something. So get ready to laugh at some dad jokes and make your Father’s Day stay-cation one to remember.

Get a ticket for a vintage train ride

If your dad likes vintage everything, then he’ll love a ride on one of the Austin Steam Train Association’s vintage train rides. There are tow different rides Father’s Day weekend; The Summertime Express on Saturday, June, 20 and The Lakeline Limited on Sunday, June 21. Each train ride will be filled with fun and adventure all while learning about the historic train cars. Due to state social distancing rules, seats are filling up fast!

cigar time

Stop by Smoker’s Abbey and pick up a premium hand rolled cigar for your dad to indulge in. The store has an excellent selection of cigars and a lounge area to savor your recent purchase. Smoker’s Abbey is conveniently located next to Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Co as well as the Peddler Bike Shop, so you and your dad can have a nice cigar, enjoy a brew, or shop for a bike. It’s a win-win!

beer to go

Cedar Park has some great local breweries for dads who like things “hoppy”. Check out Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Co or Whitestone Brewery. If your dad likes to sample some unique and rare craft beers, check out The Brewtique craft beer boutique or The Dig Pub which has a wide variety of beers on tap to sip and sample. Each brewery/bar offers beer-to-go, so you can surprise dad with a 6-pack or spend some time on their patio enjoying a cold one.
